Mrs. ALKA GOEL is a a house wife and mother of two grownup children doing satisfactorily in their chosen field respectively. Her educational profile read as M.Phil.(Math) with a gold medal . She started working as Tanjore artist almost 4 to 5 yrs back. With encouragement from my family and friends a hobby of childhood has taken shape in form of these paintings .During her stay in south india she took some trainting in this field from masters to achieve it. Since the time she started working as Tanjore artist She has worked on number of painting varying in size and pattern .

This journey as an artist has made her richer in experience, the result of which is here in form of this website developed by her. She believes learning process is a constantly upward moving curve which never ends till death and this conviction encouraged her to start experimenting with ancient south Indian sacred Tanjore art. She fused the techniques of its style with her own ideas, inspired by north Indian patterns, the place I belong to.
More of her works can be seen at her website - Shree Tanjore Art
