Paper Mache Recipes:

Use one of these 3 Paper Mache Recipes:

Recipe 1

Stir three parts water into one part flour until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
To make the paste last longer, add a few drops of oil of Wintergreen. (optional) You can buy this oil at a drugstore.

Now you need paper- newspaper works well!
Dip each piece of paper in the liquid mixture and apply it one piece at a time to form your shapes.

How to do Lama’sa art?

by aarr on November 1, 2008

Hiiiiii  friends,

I am aarr. I am sending some photos and method of lama’sa art. Please send your valuable comments.

What you need?

1/2 cup fevicol
1/2 cup corn flour
1/2 tbsp zinc oxide
1/2 lime juice
1 tbsp glycerine

What to do?

Mix together all above items in an aluminium kadai. Mixing on slow flame cook all the ingredients.
After thickening remove from flame and keep aside for 1/2 hr wrapped in a plastic cover then as per requirement add camel student oil colours to it and make flowers, leaves, toys etc. After completion varnish them. Whole process must be done carefully. If there is difference in quantities you won’t get correct consistency and the dough should be kept air tight in separate plastic paper for each colour
you have 2 take little by little 2 make flowers etc.
you can make small n beautiful different types of flowers
I ll try to post my creations very soon
