Hello Crafty,
Stunning Ganesha and the person who has bought it Is Very Lucky!Can we use mseal to substitute the chalkpowder cone?I am quiet nervous to use the cone,if it blots in one place?!Never tried it, its a mental block.
Excellent step by step instructions,the picture is speaking for itself.

In an earlier explanation for Tanjore painting,you had advised to stick a cloth wet in fevicol water, on the hardboard after softening it. You didn’t use the cloth for Ganesha painting. Is that not compulsory for all these kind of crafts?

Hi Madhavi,
Captivating work! This has inspired me to try some mural work myself .
I live in the US, and I’m not sure where I can find chalk powder here. [It was so much easier to this stuff in India ]. Some sporting goods shops sell chalk powder, but not sure if I can use that for crafts. I tried to find ceramic powder, but no luck. Marble powder is available in 1-2 stores. Plaster of paris is the easiest to get. Can I use marble powder/ plaster of paris instead of chalk powder for making a mural?
